Consumed balance
Once a message has been successfully sent and delivered, that portion of your balance is non-refundable.
1. Overview
SendRCSMessages operates on a prepaid wallet basis — you recharge your wallet, and balance is deducted per message sent. This policy explains what's refundable and what isn't, and reflects our prepaid model rather than a subscription or postpaid billing arrangement.
Refund requests are reviewed individually ("case-by-case") rather than processed automatically by default, except for failed-delivery credits, which are usually automatic. This protects against misuse while still giving genuine cases a clear path to resolution.
2. Unused wallet balance
If you have recharged your wallet and have balance that has not been used to send any message, you may request a refund of that unused balance. Requests are reviewed case-by-case and may consider factors such as time since recharge, payment method, and account standing. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method where possible, or as otherwise agreed with you.
3. Failed or undelivered messages
If a message fails to send or is not delivered due to a technical issue on our platform or our infrastructure partners' side, the corresponding wallet balance is credited back to your account. This is typically automatic and reflected in your dashboard. If you believe a failed/undelivered message was not correctly credited, contact us with the relevant campaign or message ID and we will investigate.
Message non-delivery caused by factors outside our control — such as the recipient's device not being RCS-enabled, the recipient's Google Messages app being inactive, incorrect recipient numbers supplied by you, or carrier-side rejection unrelated to our platform — is not eligible for credit, since the message was correctly attempted based on the information and configuration you provided.
4. Consumed balance
Once a message has been successfully sent and delivered as attempted, the wallet balance deducted for that message is non-refundable. This applies even if the campaign did not achieve the business outcome you hoped for (for example, low response rates) — successful delivery, not recipient engagement, is what determines whether balance was correctly consumed.
5. Non-refundable situations
- Balance consumed by successfully delivered messages (see Section 4);
- Non-delivery caused by recipient-side or data-accuracy factors outside our control (see Section 3);
- Account suspension or termination resulting from your breach of our Terms & Conditions, including acceptable-use violations;
- Setup, onboarding, or verification effort already completed on your behalf, where applicable to your commercial agreement.
6. How to request a refund
To request a refund, contact us at contact@sendrcsmessages.com or message us on WhatsApp with:
- Your registered account email or business name;
- The amount and reason for the refund request;
- Relevant transaction ID, campaign ID, or message ID, if applicable.
We may ask follow-up questions to review the request fairly.
7. Processing timeline
We aim to review and respond to refund requests within 7 business days. Once approved, refunds to the original payment method may take additional time to reflect, depending on your bank or payment provider.
8. Disputes
If you disagree with the outcome of a refund review, you may request a second review by replying to our decision email with additional context. If the matter remains unresolved, it will be handled under the dispute-resolution and governing-law terms in our Terms & Conditions.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be notified to active clients via email or platform notice, and the "Last updated" date above will be revised.
